Vetta splits the week across the three sports + one brick day (bike → run). Each sport has its own zones (CSS in the pool, % FTP on the bike, VDOT on the run) and the engine coordinates them.

Three sports, not one

Real archetypes for swim (CSS, technique), bike (power, sweet-spot) and run (VDOT, threshold). Each discipline in its own zone — no mixing.

Brick programmed

The key session is the brick (bike → run): the engine places it in the week and gives it weight. Quality on the other two sports lands on different days.

IM or Olympic periodization

Olympic, Half or Ironman. The week falls into the right phase: aerobic base → distance-specific → race taper.

Classic triathlon philosophy

30/40/30 split across the three sports, adjustable. The engine respects your gear (pool access? indoor trainer? road bike?) before prescribing.
