Coach model
The Coach plan gives you tools to manage up to 80 athletes. Here's how the link works, what the coach sees of the athlete, what they DON'T, and how we block the "1 coach + friends free" trap.
Structural anti-fraud
Every account pays its own. The Coach plan does NOT give athletes paid access — it only gives the coach the multi-athlete panel, management tools and PDF reports.
Every athlete still pays Pro (USD 9.99). The coach pays Coach (USD 24.99) for the tools. That kills the fraud incentive because the "coach"'s friends still owe Pro like any other athlete.
Coach → athlete link
From /coach, the coach invites by email. Vetta creates an invite in the athlete's account (banner on login).
Athlete accepts or rejects. If accepted: coach sees the athlete's dashboard and engine week read-only.
What the coach SEES
Athlete dashboard (read-only): VDOT, CTL/ATL/TSB, ACWR, recent activities.
Engine week (read-only): prescribed sessions, phase, philosophy, equipment.
Athlete's predictions and detected weaknesses.
Async per-session notes (coach ↔ athlete chat).
What the coach does NOT see
Password hash, Strava tokens, sensitive account data.
Athlete's subscription (can't change or cancel it).
Athlete's other links (if they have another coach, this coach doesn't find out).
Breaking the link
Athlete can unlink from Settings → My coach → Unlink. Instant.
Coach can also unlink from their /coach. Both sides are protected.
PDF reports
Coach only. From the athlete's /training (coach view), "📥 PDF" button opens the browser dialog to save the weekly plan as PDF.
Pro Atleta also sees it but as grayed-out "📥 PDF · Coach" linking to /pricing.
